Product Description:
LD-12 self-adhesive rubberized asphalt waterproofing membrane is a flexible waterproofing system combining SBS elastomeric modified bitumen and PE film or aluminum foil on the upper surface, or no film covered but self-adhesive on both sides. The outer surface is coated by removable silicon-coated film or silicon-coated buckle paper as anti-sticking isolation material.
Main Features
It not only has excellent self-adhesion, flexibility and extensibility characteristics, but also has stable performance in high and low temperature cycle. It adheres to the substrate by itself and also it is safe and environmental friendly.
Ø It is very adaptable to substrate shrinkage and crack deformation.
Ø Distinctive Self-curing Function: it has good ability to automatically cure its fine crack caused by perforated pinhole or stress.
Ø Excellent adhesive air-tightness. the joint of membrane can adhere and airproof by itself. The joint of membrane has the same long life as the material itself.

Construction Point
1 . Base treatment requirement: base should be firm, solid, smooth and dry without dusting, dirt or oil contamination.
2. Brush LD-12 special base treating agent on substrate.
3. Only spread the waterproof membrane after treating agent becomes dried.
4. Pull off release paper and adhere membranes onto the base; Press membranes tightly to make sure the trapped air is excluded
5. Using LD-12 membrane sealant for edges to do sealing treatment.
6. Position of joints should add extra waterproof layer and carry out construction of waterproof protective layer according to design requirement. 7. Fix and seal the edge of elevation membrane – metal bar should be used to fix the edge of elevation membrane and then use the membrane sealant for the sealing treatment.
Package, Storage, Transportation attention
1. Base treating agent might have little precipitation in storage period which is normal phenomenon.
2. Unspent base treating agent and sealing coating should store hermetically. Storage area must far away from fire. Storage period is 6 Months.
3. Base treating agent normally needs 4 hours to dry. It will depend on temperature and ventilation.
4. Membrane need stack horizontally and put on overhead space. If packed in cartons, the height should not exceed 5 layers.
